Made In East Yorkshire Christmas Market is coming to Beverley!

Visit East Yorkshire are delighted to announce that the brand-new ‘Made in East Yorkshire Christmas Market is coming to Beverley from Monday 13 – Friday 17 December 2021.

The market will celebrate the very best produce that East Yorkshire’s local businesses have to offer, from food and drink to crafts and gifts. The event, which will take place in the Saturday Market area will open at 10am and finish at 8pm each evening ( Friday, 10am-4pm ) with an array of festive entertainment and activities planned throughout the whole week as well as late night shopping within the town. For 2021, there will be a free Park and Ride from Beverley Racecourse.

East Yorkshire Events continue to monitor the government guidelines regarding COVID-19 and will ensure the market can be brought to the town in a responsible and COVID-secure manner.

Access/road closures: Saturday Market Place will be closed for the duration. (deliveries and taxis only). Old Waste will be closed. Sow Hill Road will be open with access into North Bar only.

Parking: Free via the Park and Ride.

Capacity: Parking for 1,000 cars.

Operating Times: First Bus from Racecourse: 9am Mon – Fri. Last Bus from Beverley: 8.25pm Mon – Thurs. 4.25pm Fri.

Times: Approx. every 20 minutes.

Pick up: Signed at Beverley Racecourse (opposite side to car park).

Drop off: Wiles Road, Outside North Bar. Walk through the North Bar, into North Bar Within, passing St Mary’s Church, and onto Saturday Market Place (approx. 4 min walk). Volunteers will be available to assist.

Disabled parking: Park and Ride (free) - a few designated spaces – off Sow Hill Road/Saturday Market Place and town centre car parks (charges apply).

On Street: Restricted parking zones/time limits apply.

Train Station: Beverley Train Station, Station Square, Beverley, HU17 0AS (approx. 5 min walk to town centre).

Bus Station: Beverley Bus Station, Sow Hill Road, Beverley, HU17 8BQ (1 min walk to town centre).

Taxis: Drop-off and pick-up on Saturday Market Place.

Wheelchair access: Saturday Market is wheelchair accessible and the town centre is pedestrianised.

Shopping: The shops/businesses in Saturday Market Place will all be open as usual. Beverley has a great mix of independent and high street stores throughout the town, (town centre is pedestrianised) including an antiques centre and many, off-the-town-centre, interesting and quirky shops. The historic North Bar area is great for browsing for something unusual and Flemingate Shopping Centre has a good selection of shops, leisure activities, eateries, a cinema and parking on-site (charges apply).

Late night shopping: Shops will have the opportunity to stay open till late. (subject to choice).

Refreshments: Refreshments are available at the market, and throughout the towns many cafes, restaurants, pubs and wine bars.

Nearest facilities: Dyer Lane Public Toilets, Dyer Lane, (off Saturday Market). Open early till 8.30pm.

Dogs: Dogs must be kept on a lead.
