How to get here

Beverley Festival of Christmas is located in the town centre, only a short walk from the train station and various car parks. Beverley town centre is very compact, so festive shoppers are able to visit the market and all other shops and attractions by foot.

How are you travelling?

Every year thousands of people travel to the East Riding to attend the Beverley Festival of Christmas. Car parking spaces are limited due to the sheer number of visitors therefore we recommend travelling to the town centre via Public transport or by using our Park and Ride service.

Beverley Racecourse, York Road, Beverley, HU17 8QZ.
Please follow the AA signs to the Park and Ride which are located on all main roads locally.

Capacity:
Parking for 1,000 cars.

Operating times:
2 buses will run between the Racecourse and the town centre.
First bus from Racecourse – 9am.
Last bus from Beverley – 4.25pm.

Pick up times:
approximately every 10 minutes.

Pick up:
Beverley Racecourse - look for signs opposite the car park.

Drop off:
Wiles Road, Beverley. (Short walk to Saturday Market).

Please follow the road signs to the Racecourse that are located on main roads locally.

Travelling by bus

Beverley Bus Station, Sow Hill Road, Beverley. HU17 8BQ (1 min walk to town centre).

There are buses into Beverley from all over the region, including:

  • Driffield
  • Bridlington
  • Hornsea
  • Market Weighton
  • Pocklington

Travelling by car

Every year thousands of people travel to the East Riding to attend the Beverley Festival of Christmas. Beverley is well signposted from all major routes with the M62 leading into the heart of the East Riding of Yorkshire. We are also accessed by the major A roads from York, Hull, Leeds and Scarborough.

If you are travelling by car, please follow the road signs for the Racecourse which are located on main roads. Although car parking is available please note that spaces will be limited throughout the day.

With restricted access to the town centre due to road closures, we recommend travel via public transport or our Park and Ride. A section of Grayburn Lane Car Park will be designated for Blue Badge Holders but please note that spaces will be limited throughout the day.

Coach Parking:
School Lane Car and Coach Park, School Lane, Beverley. HU17 9AW Off Walkergate, behind the Fire Station. (approximately 3 mins from town centre).

Please note: this car park is designated to coaches only on this date.
